Project Description
I assisted Oliver with his documentary, contributing a collage-based animation about Kodak cameras. The project, driven by an experimental spirit, took roughly two months to complete and was screened at the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) in 2024.
Design and animation
Oliver provided numerous scanned images, from which I carefully selected and masked elements in Photoshop. I then animated these assets in After Effects, shaping the visuals with an experimental, anarchic storytelling approach—incorporating a grungy aesthetic, rough designs, and dynamic transitions.
