Project Description

A year-long personal project and collaboration with my friend illustrator Ana Krasko and The Flying Sage’s Michael Oliver. I initiated this project to refine my skills in concept development, animation, and rigging (DUIK) while working on something all three of us believed in.

With psychedelics gaining recognition for medical and spiritual growth, partnering with The Flying Sage felt meaningful. We created a promo for Oracle, an AI assistant for psychonauts.

Brand Values

This project explores the intersection of transformative technologies and traditional wisdom in the psychedelic space. Oracle, an AI assistant for psychonauts, reflects the values of education, peer support, and safe exploration within a thriving psychedelic ecosystem.

By collaborating with The Flying Sage, a community-led initiative, we emphasized the importance of knowledge-sharing and responsible psychedelic use to support expanded states of consciousness and deeper self-discovery.

Process

The process started with story development provided by the client. We translated the concept into a structured script and storyboard. From there, we focused on character and environment illustrations, shaping the visual identity of the piece.

To refine the aesthetic, we created styleframes that established color, composition and mood. Animation began with animatics to define timing and movement before bringing everything to life in full motion. Finally, I designed sound effects composition to seamlessly blend with Michael Oliver’s original music, enhancing the overall experience and making it more immersive.
